    Job Description
    The essential duties of the position include:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Develop new business opportunities, both within Current customer base as well as research and develop new Customer Leads..
    • Coordinate and present responses to RFPs.
    • Attention to detail, excellent follow-up, and follow-through skills.
    • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with key departments in Lazer Spot (i.e. Fleet, Solutions, Operations, Human Resources, Safety, and Accounting).
    • Identify customer needs and address concerns, adding value through reliable responsiveness.
    • Establish credibility by demonstrating comprehensive understanding of customer needs as well as our policies, structure, and solutions.
    • Ensure adequate and proper research is done on any customer opportunity prior to completing a presentation or proposal.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamentals of the Supply Chain industry, including familiarity with warehousing, distribution, retail including e-commerce, and manufacturing trends.
    • Basic understanding of YMS (Yard Management Systems), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), & TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
    • Travel regularly, using prospecting skills to deliver new business. Maintain & Develop customer relationships
    • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
    • Utilize strong persuasive skills to educate the customer on our Value Propositions.
    • Other duties as required to ensure that the sales goals & Company objectives are met.

    Summary

    The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning and development initiatives that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. This role plays a key part in onboarding, training program development, and continuous professional development efforts across the organization. The L&D Specialist will collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to assess learning needs, curate training content, and measure the effectiveness of learning programs to drive business success.

    Job Description
    • Serve as the primary contact for all learning and development inquiries, providing guidance and resources to employees and managers.
    • Design and implement structured learning journeys for operational roles, addressing skill gaps and career progression.
    • Manage and track mandatory training programs, including the Department of Transportation (DOT) Reasonable Suspicion Training for managers.
    • Research and recommend innovative learning strategies to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
    • Coordinate with internal trainers and external providers to ensure seamless delivery of learning programs within established timelines.

    • Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry regulations and market trends to ensure compliance requirements and maintain a competitive presence/advantage.
    • Create insightful reports on learning initiatives using HR metrics, tracking progress and program effectiveness.
    • Develop and curate learning materials tailored to the needs of employees, ensuring accessibility and relevance.
    • Maintain accurate records of learning activities to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
    • Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions to enhance future learning experiences.

    Regional Fleet Manager(North Region)

    Summary:
    The Regional Manager provides the Regional Director critical support in achieving these objectives. The ideal candidate will have mid-level logistics leadership experience, with senior-level capability, possessing strong analytical and manager development skills.

    Job Description:
    • Active development of initiatives and execution of those plans to drive fleet cost efficiencies within assigned area.
    • Active communication with managers in assigned area driving execution on all Fleet initiatives.
    • Assist Site, Area and Region Manager with managing outside network of shops within our network with the goal of optimizing the truck maintenance costs and minimizing truck downtime.
    • Weekly on-site visits mentoring local Lazer Logistics managers Fleet management best practices.
    • Review and analyze vendor estimates, invoices/purchase orders for cost accuracy.
    • Negotiate vendor labor rates and parts pricing when necessary.
    • Evaluate current vendor performance and identify potential new vendors with the assistance and support of Site, Area and Region managers where appropriate.
    • Partner with Region Managers, Area and Site Managers and vendors to expedite truck related safety issues, scheduled maintenance and repairs.
    • Identify and monitor trucks and trailers at repair facilities to reduce downtime and rental expenses.

    Summary:

    The Financial Reporting Manager position reports to the VP, Corporate Controller and together with fellow Accounting and Treasury Managers and Accounting department staff, form the Controllership function.     Project manage and liaise external audit. Preparation of footnotes and stakeholder packages.

    Develop, test and maintain reporting tools, dimensions and routine reports used by the Accounting and Finance organization. Collaborate, launch and maintain Finance and Accounting's system tools, including Power BI and Robotics.

    Summary:

    The Vice President, Corporate Controller is a member of the leadership team at Lazer and is primarily responsible for the US GAAP financial statements and internal controls, month-end close, Accounting and Control function, Treasury function, Tax function. The successful candidate will provide a balanced position between strategy and compliance, coupled with pace and controls.

    Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:

    Own the financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and footnotes, in accordance with US GAAP and company policies. Ownership includes timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations, monthly supporting schedules and financial insights into the results.

    Monthly consolidation and reporting of financial statements under US GAAP. Preparation of financial reporting packages, including lender and stakeholder reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.

    Partner with FP&A and Financial Services and other functions to ensure accurate forecasting, and budgeting and understanding variances and driving remediation to close gaps.

    Ownership of Chart of Account structure, General Ledger master data and system controls within Finance systems (including Sage and OneStream).

    Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with US GAAP, regulatory requirements and drive financial integrity.

    Oversee the Company's Treasury function, including preparation of 13-week/12 month rolling cash forecast, variance analysis of actuals to forecast, preparation of lender filings, oversight of the collateral (Letters of Credit), and day-to-day cash management activities.

    Manage audits and tax compliance efforts, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors. Ownership of the Tax function (including tax filings, provisions and compliance matters) for the Company.

    Drive process improvements, leveraging technology and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in Finance and Accounting operations.
