    Summary
    The Intermodal Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily intermodal transportation operations, ensuring the efficient movement of freight across multiple transportation modes, including rail and trucking. This role requires strategic coordination between internal teams, vendors, and service providers to maintain seamless logistics operations while driving cost efficiency, service quality, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intermodal logistics, vendor management, and operational leadership.

    Job Description:
    Operational Oversight & Performance Management
    • Manage daily intermodal transportation operations, ensuring seamless coordination between rail, truck, and other modes.
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve operational disruptions, including delays, equipment issues, and logistical challenges.
    Vendor & Carrier Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with rail carriers, trucking companies, and other transportation providers.
    • Negotiate and monitor service agreements to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
    • Route Optimization & Cost Management
    • Collaborate with the planning team to optimize routing strategies, minimize costs, and enhance delivery efficiency.
    • Monitor and manage operating expenses, including fuel, labor, and equipment costs, to improve overall financial performance.
    Asset & Compliance Management
    • Oversee the management of intermodal containers, trailers, chassis, and other critical assets.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements governing intermodal operations.
    • Team Leadership & Training
    • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of logistics personnel, ensuring high performance and operational excellence.
    • Collaborate with the recruiting team to interview, hire, and onboard dispatch team members.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, employee write-ups, and disciplinary actions as needed.
    Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
    • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate load invoicing and conduct weekly billing audits.
    • Generate and present reports on operational performance, cost analysis, and service quality to senior leadership.
    • Continuous Improvement & Strategic Initiatives
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline intermodal logistics operations.
    • Maintain up to date awareness of industry regulations and market trends to ensure compliance requirements and competitive presence/advantage.
    • Monitors operational statistics, reports trends, variance and issues and takes appropriate and timely action.
    • Other tasks that may be assigned.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
    • 5+ years of experience in intermodal transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
    • Strong knowledge of rail and truck transportation, carrier management, and intermodal logistics best practices.
    • Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software.
    • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and drive performance.
    • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including safety and environmental standards.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis and cost management within logistics operations.

    Summary:
    This position will provide support to the local area manager while responsible for the personnel leadership, training, and overall operational safety of the team in addition to providing excellent customer service.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Provide feedback to the Area Manager while keeping close tabs on cross training.
    • Ensure employees are held accountable for their safety standards and resolve maintenance issues.
    • Monitor performance metrics, develop process improvements, and resolve issues that impact service levels.

    Summary:
    This position is responsible for acting as the Site Manager for multiple customer sites that are 24/7 within a given geographic area in the assigned region. There will be weekly travel between sites, with at times will require overnight stays.

    Summary:
    The Regional Manager provides the Regional Director critical support in achieving these objectives. The ideal candidate will have mid-level logistics leadership experience, with senior-level capability, possessing strong analytical and manager development skills.

    Job Description:
    • Supports Regional Director in the development of regional optimization strategies.
