Summary: The Regional Manager provides the Regional Director critical support in achieving these objectives. The ideal candidate will have mid-level logistics leadership experience, with senior-level capability, possessing strong analytical and manager development skills.
Job Description: - Supports Regional Director in the development of regional optimization strategies.
- Supports Regional Director with ongoing performance metric analysis, target development, identifying and elevating priority opportunities.
- Develops, facilitates, and assesses continuous improvement projects, to ensure that Lazer Logistics deploys best practices in yard management solutions.
- Responsible for monthly financial analysis and presentation to senior leadership.
- Supports Regional Director in the coaching and development of Area and Site Managers
- Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with Customers. Uses available metrics to monitor and maximize customer deliverables.
- Conducts business unit assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
- Supports regional Safety performance by developing and promoting procedures and campaigns to eliminate and prevent hazardous behaviors.
- Leverages FLEET technology to lead Fleet inventory and repair optimization.
- Proactively identifies and shares best practices to improve driver turnover and retention.
- Performs other duties as assigned to ensure that the operation runs safely, efficiently, and cost effective.
Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or related field or equivalent years of experience.
- 3 years management experience with Lazer Logistics or 5 years outside management experience
- Proven track record in logistics, warehouse, supply chain, transportation, or related field
- Experience with Fortune 500 firms preferred.
- Ability to quickly understand P&L issues and identify opportunities for improving financial results.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentations skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities.
- Adaptability and resilience
- Ability to build rapport with customers, managers, and associates.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, and ability to drive change.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
