Summary:
The Assistant Site Manger will work in conjunction with the Site Manager in developing a safe and effective workforce and efficient yard management operations.The Assistant Site Managers objectives are to provide reliable and courteous service to our customers with safety as a top priority; to oversee and monitor the daily activities of all Lazer Logistics employees at their designated site; to provide a communication link between customers and Lazer Logistics Team Members.
Job Description:
Ensuring company policies are followed.
Promote Safety for the entire operation.
Work with Site Manager to ensure the metrics of the KPI are met.
Hire, train, and develop team members.
Resolve customer issues to their overall satisfaction.
Maintain an overall management style that follows company best practices.
Provide leadership and direction to all employees.
Create, organize, and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage is in place to meet customer needs.
Assist Site Manager in administering disciplinary action when necessary.
Motivating employees and ensuring a focus on the mission.
Complete tasks assigned by the Site Manager accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience:
Must have leadership skills to include recruiting, hiring, team building, coaching and mentoring skills while training new managers/drivers & retrain season managers/drivers.
Must have good communication & willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
Working knowledge of domestic carrier services, rules, and regulations
Understanding and prevention of critical safety issues
Detailed oriented, organized and the ability to multi-task.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, E-Plan and Geotab)
Three (3) or more years of leadership experience in a transportation/warehouse environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 or more years of experience with transportation/warehouse software
Proficient at Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
Ability to prioritize and work through challenges independently.
CDL Required.
Will be REQUIRED to drive thirty (30) hours per week
