Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

Apply basic knowledge of transportation and warehouse procedures to daily dock operations
Verify paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments
Accurately enter shipment details into company systems
Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and receiving documentation
Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep operations running smoothly
Track and record shipment data with a high level of accuracy
Compare freight against manifests, invoices, and order forms to ensure accuracy
Report any discrepancies or damages to leadership or accounting as needed
Check and document trailer temperatures when required
Record tractor, trailer, and seal numbers
Coordinate and communicate dock and yard movements with drivers
Inspect freight to ensure it meets company standards and specifications
Place and remove jack stands at multiple dock doors to safely secure trailers and allow for trailer change-outs
Keep work areas and records organized and up to date
Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and drivers
