JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A Truck Driver / Shuttle driver in Tar Heel, NC to join our team. This is a home daily position that will perform home daily shuttle runs. 1. The longest we go at night for a driver is 330-400 miles total, from start to finish. The longest distance from one point to another along route is 107 miles. It varies, of course, based on requested loads from the customer, but usually will get it all done in 10-12 hours. Operates grain/hoppers and will have to know/learn how to operate the electronic tarp (open/close), and how to operate the hoppers on the bottom with a provided crank. These are easy runs, usually only asked to do 2 per night due to the distance, that still fills the shift; 5 night per week with overtime opportunities. A vest, bump cap, and mask, as well as the $100 credit for shoes/boots will be provided by Lazer Logistics.The ideal candidate will be responsible for exercising safe and efficient practices when operating equipment adhering to all federal and state driving regulations. Preferred 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.At Lazer we are driven to achieve!
