Summary

The Regional Director is a member of the Operations team, responsible for partnering with corporate Safety, Fleet, HR, and Accounting team members to ensure that regional site operations meet both Lazer and customer standards. This role will be accountable for P&L performance, regulatory compliance, budget management and cost control, distribution of resources, employee management and retention, contract adherence and customer satisfaction.



Job Description



Operational Excellence

  • Conduct business unit assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and Lazer requirements.
  • Identify best practices to reduce driver turnover and ensure management teams build strong relationships to improve retention.
  • Develop, execute, and assess programs to ensure that Lazer deploys best practices in yard management solutions.
People Development

  • Coach and develop Regional, Area, and Site Managers.
  • Conduct periodic 1:1s, goal setting and performance reviews.
Customer & Vendor Relations

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Customers.
  • Utilize available metrics to monitor and maximize customer deliverables.
Safety & Compliance

  • Lead safety performance by developing procedures and campaigns to eliminate hazardous behaviors and promote a culture of workplace safety.
Financial Responsibility

  • Maintain P&L accountability for the region, including budget development and financial forecasting.
  • Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities to drive improved financial performance.
Leadership

  • Identify and communicate goals and challenges with recommended solutions and strategy.

Qualifications and Experience



  • Related field with 3+ year's management experience, ideally in supply chain, transportation, or related field with 5+ years outside management experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Proven track record in logistics, warehouse, supply chain, transportation, or related field.
  • Experience with Fortune 500 firms preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand P&L issues and identify opportunities for improving financial results
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and rapport with customers and associates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Must be flexible and adaptive to the ever-changing market and Lazer Logistics objectives and goals.

The Hiring/Staffing Specialist is a member of the Site Operations team, leading frontline recruiting/staffing and

community outreach for a Lazer Logistics site. This role is accountable for executing recruiting strategies, building

talent pipelines through partnerships and local engagement, managing hiring pipelines, and supporting onboarding for

operations employees. This role partners closely with site leadership to support workforce planning, and employee

engagement, while completing required HR processing for newly hired employees. The ideal candidate is proactive

Recruiting & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with site leadership to develop and execute recruiting/hiring strategies for driver and nondriver roles, with a strong focus on proactive sourcing and community-based outreach.
  • Lead community engagement efforts to build talent pipelines, including attending job fairs, partnering with local organizations, distributing branded merchandise, and representing the company at hiring events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with driving schools, workforce agencies, and community partners to support ongoing and future hiring needs.
