Job Description

Summary
Lazer Logistics is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Legal Coordinator to support our legal team in relation to managing contracts. This role will assist in managing the full contract lifecycle"including commercial, non-commercial, and vendor agreements"supporting the legal team with the redlining process, signatures, compliance, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate is collaborative, customer-focused, and data-driven, with experience supporting lawyers, paralegals, as well as business personnel, and leveraging CLM tools and dashboards to track process and performance. This role reports to the Director of Legal Operations and will support the legal team on legal tasks, special projects, and strategic initiatives.

Job Description:
  • Contract and Document Management: Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle for all contracts, including commercial, non-commercial, and vendor agreements. Coordinating the redlining process, collaborating with legal counsel and stakeholders to ensure accurate revisions. Coordinate the signature process, including internal approvals and timely execution of documents. Ensure all contracts are stored, organized, and maintained within the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
  • Vendor & Cross-Functional Support: Assist with vendor contracts, ensuring appropriate terms and legal protections are in place. Collaborate with account managers, key stakeholders, and business units to facilitate contract review and execution. Serve as a customer-facing point of contact for contract-related questions and support. Act as a liaison between the legal department and other internal stakeholders.
  • Legal Team Support & Special Projects: Support the Director of Legal Operations and the legal team with administrative and strategic tasks. Assist with internal legal process improvement initiatives, legal research, and compliance tracking. Help coordinate internal and external legal communications and project deliverables.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting: Track and report on key contract data, including volume, turnaround time, and signature statuses. Build and manage dashboards to support visibility into contract pipeline and performance. Use Salesforce and CLM systems to align legal processes with business operations and reporting needs.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in legal coordination, contract management, or a related role.
  • Solid knowledge of the contract-redlining process and execution of contract workflows.
  • Experience managing a variety of contract types, including vendor and non-commercial agreements.
  • Experience with CLM platforms (e.g., LinkSquares, Cobblestone).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is ideal.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with both legal and business teams.
  • Excellent organization, follow-up, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Experience not required, but would be preferred, working in logistics, transportation, or operations-heavy industries.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and common contract clause
