    Summary
    The Regional Fleet Manager is a member of the Fleet management team. This role will be accountable for overseeing management of maintenance and repair of Lazer equipment and assets within assigned area of region of responsibility. This role reviews, assesses and authorizes maintenance and repair requests and expenses. This role will be responsible for compliance and spending, assigning resources, and customer satisfaction.

    Job Description:
    • Establish, optimize and/or mobilize available resources needed to minimize the time assets are out of service, maximize asset life and reduce rental/incremental expenses.
    • Active development and execution of initiatives, processes/procedures and/or programs to drive fleet cost efficiencies.
    • Promote a business partner and ownership mindset to the team to prioritize customer service excellence, adoption and resilience to change and continuous improvement.
    • Identify and communicate functional goals, opportunities and/or challenges with recommended solutions and strategy.
    • Be a leader by example and live our overall purpose and core values. Foster communication, collaboration, diversity, inclusion, innovation and a productive team environment.
    • Effectively monitor and/or manage vendor management including but not limited to managing vendors that are out of network, review and analyze estimates, invoices/purchase orders for cost accuracy, negotiate labor rates and parts pricing as necessary, evaluate performance and/or identify potential new vendors that best fits our requirements.
    • Conduct periodic regular onsite visits to collaborate, support, train and/or mentor site management teams and/or new team members, with Fleet best practices, idle time, expedite truck-related safety issues/concerns, maintenance and repairs schedules, regulations and/or policies/procedures.
    • Utilize and leverage Fleetrock (FMS) for effective monitoring and management of assets and data-driven recommendations and/or decisions to further support site managers.
    • Review and approve Bridgestone USA pro forma invoices daily
    • Manage and assist with all telematics initiatives
    • Monitor preventative maintenance compliance within Geotab to ensure that all trucks complete scheduled service based on prescribed mileage and/or time/age.
    • Maintain up to date awareness of industry regulations and market trends to ensure compliance requirements and competitive presence/advantage.
    • Monitors operational statistics, reports trends, variance and issues and takes appropriate and timely action.
    • Other tasks that may be assigned.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in transportation/logistics (ie. Fleet management, terminal or class 7/8 tractors, trailers, chassis maintenance, etc.) with high-growth organizations.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience
    • 3+ years of experience of fleet management technology, systems (ie. Microsoft), tools and/or analytics methodology
    • 3+ years' experience, success and managing vendor and/or customer relationships
    • 3-5 years of shop leadership experience- demonstrated ability dispatching technicians and managing shops on a national scale
    • Must be flexible and adaptive to the ever-changing market and Lazer Logistics objectives and goals.
    • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial/commercial mindset
    • Solutions oriented and intuitive critical thinking and leadership skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong ethical and integrity code
    • Ability to travel with or without notice to provide immediate assistance within assigned regional area

    Site Safety Coordinator

    Summary
    The Site Safety Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the safety and compliance efforts at the company's largest site. This individual contributor position requires a strong ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and uphold high ethical standards in safety practices. The Site Safety Coordinator is responsible for executing site-level safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and DOT regulations, and serving as a key liaison between the site, employees, and customers to promote a culture of safety excellence.


    Job Description
    • Safety Compliance & Program Execution: Implement and support site-specific safety programs and initiatives that align with company and regulatory standards (FMCSA, OSHA, DOT).     • Incident Response & Reporting: Support incident investigations with thorough documentation, root cause analysis, and recommendations for corrective action. Maintain accurate safety records and assist in preparing reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.
    • Data Tracking & Reporting: Maintain and update safety dashboards and logs using internal tools and systems (e.g., Power BI, LYTX). Provide regular reports on safety performance metrics and trends to site and regional leadership.

    Shuttle Dispatcher - Night

    Summary:
    Dispatchers keep the drivers moving in an efficient manner, coordinating them to different locations keeping our customers running with no interruptions in service. Dispatchers manage trailer moves, driver lunches, the time that the driver is in truck and will work closely with the Site Manager and Area Manager daily. Dispatchers will work closely with our customers and other 3rd parties to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective service that is possible.

    Job Description:

    • Log shipments into computer.
    • Document preparation.
    • Trouble shoot and correct problems.
    • Record shipment data.
    • Compare shipment contents to manifest, invoice, or order forms.

    • Record tractor, trailer, and seal numbers.
    • Dispatch moves to drivers.
    • Examine product and work to verify conformance specifications.
    • Accurately maintain records.

    • Driver Time Management skills are a must to keep Driver Productivity high and Idle Time low. Good communication skills using 2-way radio, phone, messenger, and email. Dispatchers are the first people our customers reach out to for moves or issues.
    • Data Entry Problem solving skills Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to overcome day to day issues with trailer movements and other issues that may arise during shift.
