    Summary
    The Director of the Lazer Logistics Project Management Office (PMO) is a strategic leader responsible for establishing and managing a Project Management Office that drives organizational success through effective project governance, portfolio management, and process optimization. This role oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives aligned with the company's strategic goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the design and deployment of multiple cross functional projects while building the infrastructure to successfully deliver a PMO function to the business.

    Job Description:
    PMO Strategy and Governance:
    • Develop and implement the PMO's vision, strategy, and objectives to align with organizational priorities.
    • Establish project governance frameworks, policies, and metrics to ensure consistency and accountability.
    Portfolio and Program Management:
    • Drive and oversee project prioritization and resource allocation to ensure alignment with business goals.
    • Monitor and report on portfolio performance, risks, and dependencies to executive leadership.
    Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality in project delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
    Team Leadership:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of project and program managers.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
    Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to define strategic initiatives and success criteria.
    • Educate stakeholders on PMO processes and project management benefits.
    • Act as a trusted advisor and key communicator to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
    Project Management:
    • Lead high-priority, complex, cross-functional projects critical to the organization's strategic goals.
    • Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
    • Coordinate with multiple departments, facilitating communication and conflict resolution.
    • Provide leadership to project teams by setting clear goals, roles, and responsibilities.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Relevant experience in transportation/logistics and asset management with high-growth organizations.
    • 10+ years of experience in project/program management, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
    • Proven expertise in establishing and scaling PMOs, with a track record of delivering enterprise-wide initiatives.
    • Experience starting up an enterprise-wide PMO capability and leading the organization, from ideation to adoption, through the change required to build a mature project management office.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet).
    • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
    • PMP, PGMP, or Agile certifications preferred.
    • Builds capacity of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication, and supervision efforts.
    • Must be flexible and adaptive to the ever-changing market and Lazer Logistics objectives and goals.
    • Solutions oriented and intuitive critical thinking and leadership skills
    • Strong ethical and integrity code
    • Ability to collaborate and work well in a fast-paced/dynamic team environment.

    Area Manager

    Summary:
    This position is responsible for acting as the Site Manager for multiple customer sites that are 24/7 within a given geographic area in the assigned region.

    Job Description:
    • Provide feedback to the Regional Manager.
    • The Area Manager is expected to drive when absences or staffing shortages occur.
    • Ensure employees are held accountable for their safety standards and resolve maintenance issues.
    • Monitor performance metrics, develop process improvements, and resolve issues that impact service levels.
    • Attend customer meetings and build relationships with that customer.
    • Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers.
    • Ensure that all employees provide the highest level of service.
    • Ensure equipment is in good working condition and coordinate repairs with vendors.
    • Must have strong leadership and management skills to include recruiting, hiring, team building, coaching and mentoring skills while training new managers/drivers & retrain season managers/drivers.
    • Must have good communication & willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Understanding and prevention of critical safety issues.
    • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, E-Plan and Geotab).

    • Related field with 3+ years' previous business experience, ideally in supply chain, transportation, or related field with 1-2 years supervisory experience with increasing levels of responsibility. BA/BS in logistics preferred.

    • Working knowledge of domestic carrier services, rules, and regulations.
