Summary
Assist in the day-to-day management of Dallas Area T Shuttle operation ensuring that operations are handled within contractual guidelines of the specific location, adhering to company policies and procedures, fostering good client relations and promoting a professional image and approach to the business.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Prior LTL/ Shuttle management experience is strongly preferred
- Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees
- Deliver exceptional results to our clients
- High aptitude for technology
- The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
- Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain staff
- Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers and clerks
- Monitor production, ensuring Key Performance Indicator goals and contractual obligations are met and/or exceeded
- Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards
- Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as business levels increase
- Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations.
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence
- Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the shuttle operation, transportation route, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area
