    Job Description

    Summary:
    Lazer Logistics is looking for a Regional Director that will have P&L responsibility and partners with Corporate Safety, Fleet, HR, and Accounting Officers to ensure that operations meet internal and external standards. The ideal candidate will have senior-level logistics experience, commitment to excellence, and a bias for action.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Coaches and develops Regional, Area, and Site Managers
    • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with Customers.
    • Conducts business unit assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
    • Leads to safety performance by developing and promoting procedures and campaigns to eliminate and prevent hazardous behaviors.
    • Proactively identifies best practices to reduce driver turnover and ensures that the management team builds strong relationships to improve retention.
    • Uses available metrics to monitor and maximize customer deliverables.
    • Develops, executes, and assesses continuous improvement programs to ensure that Lazer Spot deploys best practices in yard management solutions.
    • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure that the operation runs safely, efficiently, and profitably.

    Site Safety Coordinator

    Summary
    The Site Safety Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the safety and compliance efforts at the company's largest site. This individual contributor position requires a strong ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and uphold high ethical standards in safety practices. The Site Safety Coordinator is responsible for executing site-level safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and DOT regulations, and serving as a key liaison between the site, employees, and customers to promote a culture of safety excellence.


    Job Description
    • Safety Compliance & Program Execution: Implement and support site-specific safety programs and initiatives that align with company and regulatory standards (FMCSA, OSHA, DOT). Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure operational compliance. Maintain equipment and site compliance with federal and state safety regulations.
    • Independent Problem-Solving & Safety Advocacy: Serve as a trusted safety resource for the site, identifying risks and recommending actionable solutions independently. Proactively resolve safety-related concerns, escalating complex issues when necessary. Promote and model a strong sense of ethics and personal accountability in all safety activities.
    • Customer Service & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective working relationships with site employees, customers, and clients to support a collaborative and safe work environment. Act as a point of contact for client safety inquiries and concerns, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness.
    • Training & Awareness: Deliver safety training and assist toolbox talks to site personnel, ensuring consistent understanding of regulatory compliance and company policies. Educate employees on incident prevention, hazard identification, and safe work practices.
    • Incident Response & Reporting: Support incident investigations with thorough documentation, root cause analysis, and recommendations for corrective action. Maintain accurate safety records and assist in preparing reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.
    • Data Tracking & Reporting: Maintain and update safety dashboards and logs using internal tools and systems (e.g., Power BI, LYTX). Provide regular reports on safety performance metrics and trends to site and regional leadership.

    Shuttle Dispatcher - Night

    Summary:
    Dispatchers keep the drivers moving in an efficient manner, coordinating them to different locations keeping our customers running with no interruptions in service. Dispatchers manage trailer moves, driver lunches, the time that the driver is in truck and will work closely with the Site Manager and Area Manager daily. Dispatchers will work closely with our customers and other 3rd parties to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective service that is possible.

    Job Description:
    • Apply your knowledge of transportation.
    • Verify records on incoming shipments.
    • Log shipments into computer.
    • Document preparation.
    • Trouble shoot and correct problems.
    • Record shipment data.
    • Compare shipment contents to manifest, invoice, or order forms.
    • Report any discrepancies to accounting.
    • Inspect trailer temperatures.
    • Record tractor, trailer, and seal numbers.
    • Dispatch moves to drivers.
    • Examine product and work to verify conformance specifications.
    • Accurately maintain records.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Dispatchers need to be proficient with computers. We use the following programs: Yard Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Team's.
    • Driver Time Management skills are a must to keep Driver Productivity high and Idle Time low. Good communication skills using 2-way radio, phone, messenger, and email. Dispatchers are the first people our customers reach out to for moves or issues.
    • Data Entry Problem solving skills Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to overcome day to day issues with trailer movements and other issues that may arise during shift.
