    Site Safety Manager

    Summary:

    The position oversees the transportation safety management process for the assigned region in conjunction with organization safety goals and priorities. The position provides overall support and guidance to regional operations management. The regional safety manager will coordinate with Region Operations Director/Manager and Division Safety Director in crafting short- and long-term strategies in building a culture of safety. The Regional Safety Manager will oversee safety systems and activities to maintain oversight of regulatory compliance, provides training and professional development for all drivers, Clerical staff, and management in the region. Conducts audits and inspections of the transportation safety management process and monitors metrics and trends reflecting performance. Inspects all equipment at the site level to ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements.

    Job Description:
    • Guides and promotes employee safety performance by coaching and training on safety systems, policies and procedures, safety campaigns, and programs to eliminate, prevent or control injurious hazards, acts and behaviors.
    • Fosters a safety culture within the local site and customer representatives and also conducts business unit assessments, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer and company requirements.
    • Partners with local operations team and the customer to ensure that corrective action and/or preventive measures are identified and completed.
    • Investigates, reports and records vehicle accidents, work-related injuries, and incidents.
    • Maintain written documentation of events, accidents, complaints, general requirements, and prepare documentation as necessary.
    • Trains managers, drivers and site support staff on OSHA, FMCSA and DOT regulations, including hours of service, drug testing, fitness for duty, compliance files, equipment compliance, etc.
    • Assesses fleet readiness and advises local management and corporate team on maintenance and repair matters.
    • Provide comprehensive & accurate weekly/monthly reporting containing appropriate metrics.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • BS in Occupational Health and Safety or relevant field preferred; or relevant operational experience
    • 3 to 5 years of safety experience in the transportation industry required.
    • CSS/CDS preferred.
    • Working knowledge of federal & state compliance regulations (FMCSA, OSHA)
    • Possess valid driver's license-Commercial Class A preferred.
    • Ability to be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
    • Proven ability to influence and motivate others to achieve results. High level of energy and passion for excellence.
    • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to express ideas effectively and have good interpersonal and management skills.

    Site Manager

    Summary:
    This position will provide support to the Regional Manager and Regional Director while responsible for the personnel leadership, training, and overall operational safety of the team in addition to providing excellent customer service.

    Job Description:

    General Manager

    Summary:
    The General Manager has direct responsibility over employees at the assigned Site. Duties include, but are not limited to, P&L responsibility and partnering with Corporate Safety, Fleet, HR, and Accounting Officers to ensure that operations meet internal and external standards.     Job Description:
    • Coaches and develops all Lazer Logistics site Management, Leads, and applicable Admin, Clerk and Dispatch positions.
    • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with Customer.

    • Experience with Fortune 500 firms preferred.

    Region Fleet Services Specialist

    Summary:
    The Region Fleet Services Administrator role has been introduced to provide pivotal operational-administrative support to Region Fleet Managers (RFMs). The aim is to alleviate RFMs from extensive administrative duties, allowing them to focus on strategic initiatives such as site visits, vendor collaborations, customer engagement, asset audits, and driving substantial cost reductions.     Job Description:
    Administrative Support:
    • Assume a substantial portion of the administrative tasks currently managed by RFMs.
    Tire Management:
    • Review and approve Bridgestone USA tire estimates on a daily basis.
    Repair Estimates:
    • Review and approve repair estimates received from Operations teams and fleet vendors.
    Data Analysis:
    • Collaborate with the Finance team to generate actionable data analysis supporting cost efficiency initiatives.
    Optimization:
    • Work cross-departmentally to assist in optimizing fleet operations at the site level.
    Fleet Performance:
    • Utilize telematics systems, fleet management software, and other technologies to monitor and optimize fleet performance.
    • Monitor severe fault codes using TripVision and communicate with the RFM's and Operations team to find quality and timely resolution.
    Rental Cost Management:
    • Support RFMs and Operations teams in minimizing rental costs within the Area of Responsibility (AOR).
    Recalls and Campaigns:
    • Assist in managing product recalls and campaigns for the fleet, ensuring timely compliance and necessary actions are taken.
    Purchase Order (PO) Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to the new purchase order process by site and operations managers within the AOR.
    • Assist with ordering parts from our primary suppliers and provide shipping instructions from our site managers.
    Cost Efficiency Management:
    • Identify high-cost and high-hour equipment for replacement or refurbishment, contributing to overall cost-efficiency measures.
    Fleet Maintenance Software:
    • Help implement, manage, and train FleetRock software.
    Warranty Recovery:
    • Assist the Warranty Director, and RFM in capturing warranty. Identify Warranty within the FMS and work with Vendors to ensure warranty dollars are captured.
    Equipment Moves:
    • Assist in all aspects of equipment moves. Complete Change Orders, and work with the RFM and Ops, coordinating equipment moves.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis and reporting tools.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
