    Job Description

    Summary:
    Lazer Tech is seeking an Application Support Specialist who will be responsible for providing support to all internal clients and customers through technical solutioning, system maintenance, and reporting practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a blend of project and case management skills that contribute to both long-term systems solutions and day-to-day customer satisfaction. This role is the intersection of Application Specialist expertise and Helpdesk Support customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Customer Enablement & Success- Operate as primary Spotlight SME for all customers seeking technical assistance, ensure prompt and consistent engagement with customers, design and execute customer facing product trainings provide critical support to startups and migration initiatives, hypercare during post go-live periods, rapid response support, produce standard work and SOPs to maintain customer communication and success
    • Systems Monitoring & Maintenance - ability to manage ticketing/case management tool, log/track flow of cases, summarize and share reporting feedback to engineer stakeholders
    • Documentation & Reporting - build reporting processes and feedback loops for operations leadership, analysis of reported topics, customers, and sites.
    • Technical Support- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, escalate issues to appropriate internal resource or external vendor, when necessary, work with MDB to push software and updates out to remote devices, engage and assist Helpdesk Support Specialist for feedback and support
    Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies:
    • Ability to prioritize and work on concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints, and communicate risk and challenges while accepting change in shifting priorities based upon changing company needs
    • Strong Technical Skills- understanding of computer systems, networks, and applications
    • Customer Service- high level of empathy and attentiveness when supporting end-users, ability to design and deploy training materials/resources to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
    • Communication Skills- Ability to succinctly communicate responses and question unclear expectations
    • Strong configuration and troubleshooting skills
    • Detail & Process Oriented
    • Case Management
    • Software Training Experience

    Qualifications and Experience:
    • 3+ years of application/technical support or helpdesk experience in an engineering function
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology preferred
    • Experience writing bugs/user stories with Microsoft Azure DevOps test management tool
    • SOTI Experience
    • Helpdesk Software Experience preferred
    • Yard Management Expertise
    • Experience specializing in both day-to-day application support and broader technical solutioning

    Summary
    The Learning & Development Assistant will work collaboratively with the Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Manager, People Operations Team and other functions as necessary, to provide general administrative and support, be customer-focused and partner with different stakeholders and foster a positive, innovative and continuous learning environment. This role contributes to the overall achievement, success and delivery of the L&D goals and strategy.

    Job Description
    • Provides timely, consistent, and efficient L&D administrative and support tasks including mailbox/communication channel(s) monitoring, filing, accurate data entry, account resets, document and query intake and processing.
    • Facilitates the onboarding and offboarding process for hires, promotions, demotions, leavers, etc., to ensure a smooth transition into (or from) roles and the Lazer organization.
    • Assists in maintaining the Operations Manager Support Sharepoint, L&D event calendar, and other L&D channels/tools/systems to provide accurate and updated resource materials for instruction, reference, and/or guidance.
    • Conduct attendance monitoring, pulse surveys (ie. idea tank, feedback, etc.) and maintain records of L&D activities to determine completion, effectiveness and improvement initiatives.
    • Utilize available digital tools/systems to generate, analyze and/or distribute insightful reports on L&D metrics to track progress, celebrate achievements and help identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Assist in regularly communicating L&D requirements and/or progress with key stakeholders to ensure compliance and completion within set timelines.
    • Assist in arranging necessary logistics (ie. venue, equipment, etc.), preparing materials for facilitators and providing overall support to an L&D event (ie. monitoring chat boxes, initiating/monitoring polls, managing breakout rooms, etc.)
    • Maintain up to date basic awareness of industry regulations and market trends to ensure compliance requirements and competitive presence/advantage.
    • Other tasks that may be assigned.
