Summary
The Treasury Manager oversees the organization's treasury operations, ensuring effective cash management, liquidity optimization, and financial risk mitigation. This high-visibility role requires cross-functional collaboration with finance, accounting, and executive leadership to maintain strong banking relationships, develop investment strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Description

Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models to predict short- and long-term funding requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating services and fees.
Oversee the opening, closing, and administration of global bank accounts, ensuring appropriate signatories and controls are in place.
Assess and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposures.
Manage corporate debt facilities, ensuring compliance with loan covenants.
Develop, implement, and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Lead the treasury month-end close process, ensuring accurate recording of cash activity in the general ledger.
Mentor and develop treasury staff, fostering a high-performance team environment.
Develop and execute investment strategies to optimize returns on excess cash while ensuring liquidity and security.
Lead the planning and execution of investment and borrowing strategies.
Ensure proper controls exist over cash receipts, disbursements, and general treasury activities.
Works cross-functionally to drive execution of specific divisional and company strategies, initiatives, and projects.
Coach, mentor, and develop employees while growing the team.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in treasury or financial management roles.
Demonstrated experience in cash management, financial risk management, and investment strategies.
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, treasury management systems, and digital banking platforms.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Develops the capacity of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication, and supervision efforts.

Summary
The Director of Business Development is a member of the Sales team, accountable for identifying new business, selling Lazer Logistics services and solutions, and onboarding new accounts within an assigned geographic region. This role owns regional pipeline development, Request for Pricing (RFP) responses, and customer onboarding, while partnering with Operations, Fleet, Finance, and Solutions to deliver proposals that meet corporate, departmental, and business objectives. This role drives regional growth through proactive planning, disciplined information management, and sustained customer engagement. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, consultative seller who is detail-oriented and effective at communicating a service-based value proposition in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Business Development & Pipeline Growth

Identify and generate new customer leads within an assigned geographic region to expand Lazer Logistics' book of business.
Develop new business through both existing customer relationships and new market opportunities.
Coordinate and present responses to Requests for Pricing (RFPs) in partnership with internal stakeholders.
Conduct thorough account and market research prior to presenting proposals to customers.
Travel regularly to prospect new business and to maintain and develop existing customer relationships.

Customer Relationship Management

Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships that support account retention and growth.
Identify customer needs and address concerns with reliable responsiveness.
Establish credibility by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and strategically applying Lazer Logistics solutions.
Educate customers on the Lazer Logistics value proposition, positioning service and problem resolution over price.
Monitor account activity to ensure customers remain within contract terms.

Industry & Solutions Expertise

Maintain working knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, including warehousing, distribution, retail, and manufacturing trends.
Apply a working understanding of Yard Management Systems (YMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to customer solution discussions.

Team Collaboration

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key departments across Lazer Logistics, including Operations, Fleet, Finance, and Solutions.

The Paralegal, Litigation is a member of the Legal Operations & Strategy team, responsible for supporting litigated auto liability and general liability (AL/GL) claims. Manage the day-to-day handling of litigated AL/GL claims from receipt of the lawsuit through resolution, in coordination with outside counsel, internal employees, insurance carriers, and the Safety team.
Serve as the primary internal liaison to outside counsel on active litigated AL/GL matters, tracking deadlines, budgets, and case status.
Provide backup support on employment litigation matters as needed.

Insurance Coverage & Claims Support

Support insurance coverage analysis in partnership with the Claims Manager, including policy review and evaluation of coverage positions.
Track tenders and reservation-of-rights correspondence and escalate coverage issues to the Vice President of Legal Operations & Outreach.
Support claims from first notice of loss through resolution in coordination with carriers, Safety, and Workers' Compensation.

Discovery & Records Response

Receive, log, and respond to subpoenas within required deadlines to ensure responses are complete and compliant.
Manage discovery in litigation handled by outside counsel, including the collection, review, and organization of documents, data, and witness information responsive to discovery requests.
Gather and organize evidence, witness statements, and incident documentation in anticipation of or in response to litigation.
Maintain accurate matter and claims tracking in internal systems, including SharePoint and Salesforce, and produce status reporting for Legal Operations leadership.

Team Collaboration

Partner with Safety and Workers' Compensation to gather incident reports and coordinate investigations supporting active matters.
Execute special projects and assignments as requested by the Vice President of Legal Operations & Outreach.
