Summary
The Talent Acquisition Supervisor is a member of the People leadership team, overseeing design and implementation of talent acquisition strategies for field operations management and all non-field roles within Lazer Logistics. This role will be responsible for talent management processes (ie. requisition, sourcing, etc.) and overall candidate monitoring and experience leveraging on digital solutions.
Job Description
- Manage the requisition process in collaboration with functional leaders and/or hiring managers.
- Leverage platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, social media, and networking events to identify passive and active candidates.
- Design and implement effective sourcing strategies based on the role requirements and expectations
- Engage with candidates through email, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other channels to generate interest in opportunities.
- Build and manage talent pipelines for both immediate and future job openings.
- Maintain detailed candidate records in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for current and future openings.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings via resumes and pre-screening calls to assess suitability for roles.
- Present shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Ensure a positive experience for all candidates, even those who may not be selected.
- Establish, optimize and/or mobilize available resources needed to achieve goals through establishing and meeting metrics, assist in developing talent acquisition programs, initiatives, and projects aligned with business goals
- Works cross-divisionally to drive execution of specific divisional and company strategies, initiatives and projects.
- Coach, mentor and develop employees while growing the team, as needed
- Conducts and ensures periodic 1:1s, goal setting and performance reviews, as needed
- Identify and communicate goals and challenges with recommended solutions and strategy.

- Promote a business partner and ownership mindset to the team to prioritize customer service excellence, adoption and resilience to change and continuous improvement.

- Monitors operational statistics, reports trends, variance and issues and takes appropriate and timely action.
