    Summary
    The Learning & Development Assistant will work collaboratively with the Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Manager, People Operations Team and other functions as necessary, to provide general administrative and support, be customer-focused and partner with different stakeholders and foster a positive, innovative and continuous learning environment. This role contributes to the overall achievement, success and delivery of the L&D goals and strategy.

    Job Description
    • Provides timely, consistent, and efficient L&D administrative and support tasks including mailbox/communication channel(s) monitoring, filing, accurate data entry, account resets, document and query intake and processing.
    • Facilitates the onboarding and offboarding process for hires, promotions, demotions, leavers, etc., to ensure a smooth transition into (or from) roles and the Lazer organization.
    • Assists in maintaining the Operations Manager Support Sharepoint, L&D event calendar, and other L&D channels/tools/systems to provide accurate and updated resource materials for instruction, reference, and/or guidance.
    • Conduct attendance monitoring, pulse surveys (ie. idea tank, feedback, etc.) and maintain records of L&D activities to determine completion, effectiveness and improvement initiatives.
    • Utilize available digital tools/systems to generate, analyze and/or distribute insightful reports on L&D metrics to track progress, celebrate achievements and help identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Assist in regularly communicating L&D requirements and/or progress with key stakeholders to ensure compliance and completion within set timelines.
    • Assist in arranging necessary logistics (ie. venue, equipment, etc.), preparing materials for facilitators and providing overall support to an L&D event (ie. monitoring chat boxes, initiating/monitoring polls, managing breakout rooms, etc.)
    • Maintain up to date basic awareness of industry regulations and market trends to ensure compliance requirements and competitive presence/advantage.

    Area Manager (Nights)

    Summary:
    This position is responsible for acting as the Site Manager for multiple customer sites that are 24/7 within a given geographic area in the assigned region.

    Job Description:
    Provide feedback to the Regional Manager.
    The Area Manager is expected to drive when absences or staffing shortages occur.
    Ensure employees are held accountable for their safety standards and resolve maintenance issues.
    Monitor performance metrics, develop process improvements, and resolve issues that impact service levels.

    Job Description
    Oversee the day-to-day operations with a focus on Safety (observations & coaching) and customer service.
    Monitor performance metrics, develop process improvements, and resolve issues that impact service levels.
    Provide guidance and supervision to employees.
    Manage and develop department personnel to efficiently meet the needs of the business.
    Ensure that all employees provide the highest level of service.
    Ensure all locations have the necessary equipment to operate (maintenance & rentals).
