Dispatcher

Summary: Dispatchers keep the drivers moving in an efficient manner, coordinating them to different locations keeping our customers running with no interruptions in service. Dispatchers manage trailer moves, driver lunches, the time that the driver is in truck and will work closely with the Site Manager and Area Manager daily. Dispatchers will work closely with our customers and other 3rd parties to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective service that is possible.

Summary:

Area Manager

Summary:
This position is responsible for acting as the Site Manager for multiple customer sites that are 24/7 within a given geographic area in the assigned region.

Job Description:
Provide feedback to the Regional Manager.
The Area Manager is expected to drive when absences or staffing shortages occur.
Ensure employees are held accountable for their safety standards and resolve maintenance issues.
Monitor performance metrics, develop process improvements, and resolve issues that impact service levels.
Attend customer meetings and build relationships with that customer.
Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers.
Ensure that all employees provide the highest level of service.
Ensure equipment is in good working condition and coordinate repairs with vendors.
Must have strong leadership and management skills to include recruiting, hiring, team building, coaching and mentoring skills while training new managers/drivers & retrain season managers/drivers.
Must have good communication & willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
Understanding and prevention of critical safety issues.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, E-Plan and Geotab).

Pricing Analyst

Summary
The Pricing Analyst is a member of the Finance team and serves as a critical link between the Commercial Sales and Operations departments, supporting pricing strategies and profitability analysis. This role focuses on processing high-volume pricing requests, conducting P&L analysis, and delivering data-driven pricing recommendations to the Commercial Sales team. The Pricing Analyst is expected to handle advanced financial modeling, utilize FP&A pricing tools to evaluate profitability scenarios, and provide analytical support that enables the Sales team to win new business while maintaining current business.

Job Description

Pricing Analysis & Request Management
Process and analyze 40+ weekly pricing requests from the Commercial Sales team, utilizing P&L analysis and FP&A pricing models to develop competitive and profitable pricing options.
Update 40+ pricing model economics into SalesForce opportunities as they are approved via committee.
Conduct detailed cost analysis including operational costs, service requirements, and market rates to determine optimal pricing structures for various service offerings.

Financial Modeling & Analysis
Operate within and analyze financial models to evaluate the profitability impact of pricing decisions across Lazer's operations.
Analyze key financial metrics including margin analysis, cost per mile, revenue per load, and other logistics-specific KPIs to support pricing recommendations.

Data Management
Maintain and update pricing databases, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and standardization of pricing processes.
Prepare regular reports on pricing trends, win/loss analysis, and market dynamics to inform strategic pricing decisions.

Pricing Meeting Facilitation
Prepare details for pricing options to the Pricing Committee 2-3 times per week.
Present pricing options and assumptions to the Pricing Committee 2-3 times per week.
Facilitate discussion and provide insight into assumption-based analysis for options to the Pricing Committee 2-3 times per week.

Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to understand customer requirements, service specifications, and competitive positioning to develop tailored pricing proposals.
  • Promote a business partner and ownership mindset to the team to prioritize customer service excellence, adoption and resilience to change and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain up to date awareness of industry regulations and market trends to ensure compliance and competitive presence/advantage.

Driving Manager Nights

Summary
The Assistant Site Manager is a member of the Operations team, supporting safe, effective, and efficient yard management operations at a given customer site. This role is responsible for monitoring daily activities of employees and assisting in personnel training. This role will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction for their specific site.
Job Description
Operational Excellence
  1. Support the Site Manager in monitoring performance metrics, identifying process improvements, and assisting with issue resolution that impacts service levels.
  2. Assist in equipment inspections to ensure good working conditions and communicate repair needs to the Site Manager for vendor coordination.
  3. Drive a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  4. Monitor employee adherence to safety standards and report maintenance issues to the Site Manager.
People Development
  1. Assist in training and managing drivers and site-level staff.
  2. Assist in recruitment, hiring, team building, and mentoring of drivers and site-level staff.
