Regional Director - Central Plains-STL, KC, IA

Our ideal candidate will be located within the region, with preference given to candidates based in St. Louis, Kansas City, and/or Iowa.
Summary
The Regional Director is a member of the Operations team, responsible for partnering with corporate Safety, Fleet, HR, and Accounting team members to ensure that regional site operations meet both Lazer and customer standards. This role will be accountable for P&L performance, regulatory compliance, budget management and cost control, distribution of resources, employee management and retention, contract adherence and customer satisfaction.

Operational Excellence
  • Conduct business unit assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and Lazer requirements.
  • Identify best practices to reduce driver turnover and ensure management teams build strong relationships to improve retention.
  • Develop, execute, and assess programs to ensure that Lazer deploys best practices in yard management solutions.
People Development
  • Coach and develop Regional, Area, and Site Managers.
  • Conduct periodic 1:1s, goal setting and performance reviews.
Customer & Vendor Relations
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Customers.
  • Utilize available metrics to monitor and maximize customer deliverables.
Safety & Compliance
  • Lead safety performance by developing procedures and campaigns to eliminate hazardous behaviors and promote a culture of workplace safety.
Financial Responsibility
  • Maintain P&L accountability for the region, including budget development and financial forecasting.
  • Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities to drive improved financial performance.
Leadership
  • Identify and communicate goals and challenges with recommended solutions and strategy.
  • Be a leader by example and live our overall purpose and core values. Foster communication, collaboration, diversity, inclusion, innovation and a productive team environment.

Business Intelligence Analyst

Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst is a member of the Finance and Accounting team, responsible for supporting the commercial side of Lazer Logistics. This role will be accountable for hands-on creation, maintenance, and automation of critical business performance reporting. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to transform raw data into accurate, actionable daily reporting for the Commercial team.



Job Description

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Extract, manipulate, and aggregate complex data sets from Salesforce and other sources, establishing highly automated, scalable reporting workflows that guarantee accuracy.
  • Provide data aggregation and analytical support to drive the development of financial models, annual budgets, and commercial forecasting.
  • Own the absolute integrity of all published reports and intelligence by enforcing strict data governance, maintaining data dictionaries, and standardizing calculations.
Commercial Support

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and routine performance reports to provide clear visibility into Commercial team trends and KPIs.
  • Deliver agile analytical support to the Commercial team by translating complex business questions into functional data queries and actionable intelligence.
  • Promote a business partner and ownership mindset to the team to prioritize customer service excellence, adaptability and resilience to change, and continuous improvement.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
