    Assistant Area Manager

    Summary
    This position is responsible for acting as the Site Manager for multiple customer sites that are 24/7 within a given geographic area in the assigned region.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations with a focus on Safety (observations & coaching) and customer service.
    • Monitor performance metrics, develop process improvements, and resolve issues that impact service levels.
    • Provide guidance and supervision to employees.
    • Manage and develop department personnel to efficiently meet the needs of the business.
    • Ensure that all employees provide the highest level of service.
    • Ensure all locations have the necessary equipment to operate (maintenance & rentals).
    • Ensure mangers are held accountable for their safety standards and solve maintenance issues.
    • Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers.
    Technical Skills and Knowledge:
    • Must have strong leadership and management skills to include recruiting, hiring, team building, coaching and mentoring skills while training new managers/drivers & retrain season managers/drivers.
    • Must have good communication & willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Understanding and prevention of critical safety issues.
    • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, E-Plan and Geotab).

    Summary
    The Talent Acquisition Supervisor is a member of the People leadership team, overseeing design and implementation of talent acquisition strategies for field operations management and all non-field roles within Lazer Logistics. This role will be responsible for talent management processes (ie. requisition, sourcing, etc.) and overall candidate monitoring and experience leveraging on digital solutions.

    Job Description
    • Manage the requisition process in collaboration with functional leaders and/or hiring managers.
    • Leverage platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, social media, and networking events to identify passive and active candidates.
    • Design and implement effective sourcing strategies based on the role requirements and expectations
    • Engage with candidates through email, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other channels to generate interest in opportunities.
    • Build and manage talent pipelines for both immediate and future job openings.
    • Maintain detailed candidate records in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for current and future openings.
    • Conduct initial candidate screenings via resumes and pre-screening calls to assess suitability for roles.
    • Present shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
    • Ensure a positive experience for all candidates, even those who may not be selected.
    • Establish, optimize and/or mobilize available resources needed to achieve goals through establishing and meeting metrics, assist in developing talent acquisition programs, initiatives, and projects aligned with business goals
    • Works cross-divisionally to drive execution of specific divisional and company strategies, initiatives and projects.
    • Coach, mentor and develop employees while growing the team, as needed
    • Conducts and ensures periodic 1:1s, goal setting and performance reviews, as needed

    Job Description
    • Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.

    Central Plains Regional Manager

    Summary:
    The Regional Manager provides the Regional Director critical support in achieving these objectives. The ideal candidate will have mid-level logistics leadership experience, with senior-level capability, possessing strong analytical and manager development skills.

    Job Description:
    • Supports Regional Director in the development of regional optimization strategies.
    • Supports Regional Director with ongoing performance metric analysis, target development, identifying and elevating priority opportunities.
    • Develops, facilitates, and assesses continuous improvement projects, to ensure that Lazer Logistics deploys best practices in yard management solutions.

    Summary:
    This position will provide support to the Regional Manager and Regional Director while responsible for the personnel leadership, training, and overall operational safety of the team in addition to providing excellent customer service.

    Job Description:
